Weather

The weather in North Devon has a milder climate than the rest of the country, which makes it a great place to come for a relaxing spring or autumn break.

Whatever the weather, the North Devon landscape is always stunning and dramatic.

Here is a summary of the typical weather to expect in North Devon and Exmoor throughout the seasons.

Spring

Spring DaffodilsSpring in North Devon is fresh, clean, bright. Flowers bloom early here due to the mild climate, so the hedgerows come alive with daffodills and primroses and Exmoor is ablaze with purple heather and yellow gorse.

It is a great time for walking and cycling, the long sandy beaches are empty and inviting and the small resorts are welcoming in the Spring sunshine.
